The Striated Caracara, (Phalcoboenus australis) is a bird of prey of the Falconidae family. Its habitat is limited to the small islands of the Falklands as well as some areas of Tierra del Fuego, so it is one of the rarest birds of prey worldwide. In the Falkland Islands it is known as the Johnny Rook.
